QRLeap renewed – free editable QR codes for Finnish businesses

QRLeap renewed – free editable QR codes for Finnish businesses

QRLeap, IoTera's own QR code service, was completely renewed in September 2026. It got a new, cleaner look, became free for Finnish businesses, and now works in both Finnish and English.

A printed QR code goes stale – a QRLeap code doesn't

A regular QR code is locked forever to the address encoded into it. If a brochure, a sign or a campaign poster has already been printed and the destination changes, the only option is to print a new code and swap it in. QRLeap's editable QR code solves this: the printed code stays exactly the same, but you can change its destination from the QRLeap dashboard anytime – no reprinting needed. The same goes for a sign in a restaurant window, a brochure at a trade fair booth, or a code on a housing company's noticeboard.

Every feature, free

QRLeap is now free for Finnish businesses, with nothing locked behind a paywall:

  • 100 editable QR codes and unlimited scans
  • Every code type: URL, WiFi, business card, email, SMS, WhatsApp, event
  • Your own colours, patterns, frames and logo on the code
  • PNG and SVG download for print
  • Password protection and an expiry date
  • Full analytics: scans over time, by device and by location

No credit card, no hidden costs – all of this is available the moment you sign up.

Routing by time and device

One code can send different visitors to different places. A restaurant can set the same code to show the lunch menu from 10:30 to 14:00 and the à la carte menu in the evening from 17:00 to 22:00 – respecting timezone and weekday, with up to 10 rules per code. An app download link, in turn, can send an iPhone user to the App Store and an Android user to Google Play from the very same code. Built-in A/B testing lets you compare two destination pages under one code.

Who it's for

QRLeap is a particularly good fit for:

  • Restaurants and cafés with menus that change during the day
  • Event and trade fair organisers
  • Print products and campaigns
  • Housing companies and properties
  • Marketing agencies and print shops making codes for their clients

Pricing

QRLeap is free forever, all features included. Before reaching the destination, the scanner sees a two-second QRLeap interstitial page – that's the only thing separating the free and paid versions. If the interstitial doesn't suit your use case, you can remove it with the "Direct redirect" add-on, which costs €5/month or €39/year (VAT included). You can turn it on or cancel it anytime.

Looking for pilot users

QRLeap is looking for pilot users among Finnish businesses, event organisers and print professionals. Try it at qrleap.app – no credit card required, and support is available in Finnish.
